While considering his next purchase of a street car, Don Esbjornson met Dick Hansen. Dick is a long-time car enthusiast, collector, pilot, entrepeneur and all-around great guy. While completing the purchase of Dick's Ferrari, the subject of his Autobahn Country Club property was talked about. Dick said, "I think I'm going to sell that property". Don said, "SOLD"
Just a few weeks later, Don Esbjornson and Mike Newlander were becoming fast friends, and traveled together to Phoenix for a 3-day racing school at Bondurant Racing. During the 3-4 hour plane ride out to Phoenix, Don and Mike became 'partners' on the empty lot. By the time they were heading home, the Autobahn Garage concept had been born.

The Full Track layout is one of the best in the country. With 3.56 miles, and 21 turns it's a challenging course, with great straights throughout. Lot # 11 sits between turns #6 and #7. This is a 100mph + straight, with views of #6, #7, #8 and #9 as well as the straight all the way to Start/Finish. The "Crows Nest" is sure to offer the best viewing of any garage on the property.
